Model 1 uses no off-the-shelf components.
Model 1 is entirely modular, allowing the user to easily swap out parts within minutes, to create an entirely different look, or to simply replace or upgrade a part.

Model 1 is a compact, lightweight guitar. Perfect for chucking in a backpack or suitcase for taking on a plane.
It can be tuned to standard tuning (EADGBe) whilst retaining proper string tension.
Model 1 does not rely on a truss rod to keep the neck straight and the string action (height from the fretboard) low. The entire guitar is constructed around an aluminium spine, ensuring that it always remains straight for increased reliability and low maintenance.
